It’s summer time in Steamboat Springs, the perfect season to explore the outdoors. The rivers are primed for kayaking, tubing, rafting and fishing. The trails are in excellent condition for mountain biking, hiking and trail running. The golf courses, gondola and Alpine Slide are open and being enjoyed by many. If you like to compete, Steamboat offers a Running Race Series, Mountain Bike Race Series and Triathlon to name a few. Steamboat has a full calendar of events to consider. Some of the highlights are the Mainstreet Farmers Market, Free Music on the Green at the Yampa River Botanic Park, Free Summer Concert Series, Pro Rodeo Series, Strings Music Festival, Art on the Mountain, First Friday Art Walk, Luxury Home Tour, Parade of Homes, Wine Festival, etc.
For our local readers, you may have already taken advantage of the Fourth of July Celebration and Parade, Art in the Park and Hot Air Balloon Rodeo to name a few.
